Interior Structures of Santa Teresa Fortress - Army Parks Service

Interior Structures
The fortress had the capacity to accommodate approximately 300 men, functioning as a self-contained military complex.

Among the restored colonial structures are the flag room, guardhouse, chapel, barracks, powder magazine, and dungeons, each fulfilling a specific role within the organization of the garrison.

These spaces now allow visitors to understand the daily life of the military personnel stationed at the fortress, from defense and discipline to religious practice and logistical support.

Together, they provide a comprehensive view of how the fortress operated as both a defensive structure and a place of permanent occupation.
