Historic Plan of Santa Teresa Fortress
Its granite walls reach up to 11.5 meters in height and 4 meters in thickness, providing strong resistance against artillery attacks.

The structure features 41 embrasures for cannons and five sentry boxes for surveillance, allowing continuous monitoring of the surrounding territory.

The fortress has a main gate to the west and a postern gate to the east, both restored as part of the preservation efforts.

This architectural layout reflects the strategic importance of the fortress within the colonial defensive system of the South Atlantic.
